Modem configuration for 10-digit local dialing

Reconfiguration for Microsoft Windows ME

1. Click on Start, Settings, and Dial-up Networking.

2. Click once on your TurboGT Internet connection, most probably named Globetrotter. Then, click on the File menu and on Properties.

3. Type the required area code followed by the local connection number in the Phone number box. This number should include 10 digits to comply with the new dialing standard (Ex: 5148617915).

4. Uncheck the Use area code and dialing properties box.

5.Click on OK to accept the changes.
