Modem configuration for 10-digit local dialing

Reconfiguration for Microsoft Windows Vista

1. Select Start, click on Control Panel, and double-click on Network and Sharing Centre. Select Manage Connections in the left panel.

2. Click once on your TurboGT Internet connection, most probably named Globetrotter. Right click the icon and then click Properties.

3. Type the required area code followed by the local connection number in the Phone number box. This number should include 10 digits to comply with the new dialing standard (Ex. 4187210851).

4. Uncheck the Use dialing rules box.

5. Click on OK to accept the changes.
